I am Jen Mussari and I am a commercial artist from Brooklyn, NY. I work primarily with lettering in paint and embroidery to make bold statements!
First Person Long:
I spend my days painting, drawing, and designing lettering in collaboration with some of my favorite people. I work with brands both big and small so that my artwork can live in endless forms; including bandanas made with my sister at Apprvl, art installations with Refinery29's 29Rooms, drawing animals in the California desert with The Joshua Tree House, and as titles on various book and album covers, etc.
With a knack for materials, you could say I'm a jack of all trades. And I'd say I'm a master of a couple. Originally from Philadelphia, I now live in Brooklyn and share a creative studio space in Carroll Gardens with fellow freelancers called Design Town.
Some of the clients I am proud to have collaborated with include Coach, Slack, Stetson, Refinery29, Everlane, Squarespace, Away Travel, Dolce & Gabbana, Airbnb, Kickstarter, EMI, Capitol Records, Target, Penguin Books, Adobe, Pentagram, and Dropbox.
